Great Lakes Porcine Gelatin Description:

Great Lakes Porcine Gelatin is the pork gelatin which the Weston A. Price Foundation recommends as a nutritional protein supplement.  Great Lakes Gelatin, similar to the healthy component of pork bone broth, is a food now credited with giving traditional people strong bones and tendons as well as elastic skin.  As we age, our bodies produce fewer collagen molecules, causing our skin and bones to lose their youthful flexibility.  This is thought to be caused by a nitrogen imbalance which science suggests is at fault for the stiff joints and wrinkles that accompany old age.

Athletes' whose bodies must regenerate collagen fibers to maintain optimal body fitness have found that porcine gelatin can enhance althletic performance.  Great Lakes Gelatin is a sugar-free and tryptophan-free protein source and a healthy alternative to mainstream protein powders.  Great Lakes Gelatin is also recommended as an appetite suppressant to promote healthy weight loss.  Supplementing our diets with Great Lakes Gelatin is a healthy way to add a highly bioavailable cartilaginous protein.  Many nutrition experts recommend Great Lakes Gelatin for its joint care and anti-aging effects.
